QUESTION | How do I differentiate my degree track for a successful resume? |
ANSWER | As you know, some degrees have different tracks, options, or areas of emphasis. For example, a major in Biomedical Sciences may be on a Forensic Science Option, Pre-Clinical Laboratory Science Option, or the Pre-Professional Option. In this case, it is more a matter of formatting than anything else. It is important to indicate your track or option and you can do this with the appropriate formatting. Check out the example below to see how this can be done on your resume. Remember, do not abbreviate; spell it out. Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science Forensic Science Option OR Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science Emphasis: Pre-Professional |
